The Bowel Cancer Screening programme targets people who are aged 50 to 74 and registered with a GP practice.
Home test kits are sent to patients in the post automatically once they reach 50 years of age, then every two years thereafter between the age range above.
- The NHS bowel cancer screening kit can save your life
- Just a tiny sample detects signs of bowel cancer before you notice anything wrong
- If you’re sent an NHS bowel cancer screening kit, put it by the loo. Do not put it off.
