Adult Weight Management in Camden
Arsenal in the Community:
The Shape Up programme is a free, 12 week adult weight management programme for men that includes physical activity. Not only will we try to help you lose at least 5% of your bodyweight, but we will also help you to build a sustainable healthy lifestyle so that you can keep the weight off for life. Arsenal in the community also run Shape Up Sisters, an adult weight management programme for women.

More Life:
More Life is a free, tier 2, 12-week weight management programme available to Camden and Islington residents via referral or self-refer. A psychologically informed 12-week programme, where participants have access to weekly, 1 hour group-based weight management sessions at local community venues, face to face, or online via Zoom. Participants are supported to make gradual changes, by a dedicated weight management practitioner.

NHS Digital Weight management programme
If you have a BMI >30 and diabetes or hypertension then we can refer yourself to the NHS digital weight management programme.

Diabetes Prevention
NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (DPP) is a face-to-face and tailored behavioural change programme available to people who are found to be pre-diabetic on their blood tests (HbA1c 42-47 mmol/mol)
Eligible participants are now able to self-refer to the programme online if they have a Diabetes UK risk score of 16+.

An online interactive self-management programme for people with Type 2 diabetes is available via the Camden Diabetes Service.

We also invite patients for a health check when they reach the age of 40 and annually from 75 years of age
