Catchment area

Before filling out a registration form, check you are in our catchment area and you are also a local resident.

Once the map appears please type your post code into the search box to see if you live inside our practice boundary.

Registering with the surgery

To register with the surgery:

• fill out an online NHS registration form
• visit reception when we are open and collect a paper registration form

When you register, it’s helpful to have your NHS number. You can use the NHS website to find your NHS number.

If you move out of the practice area you will asked to re-register locally.  This is due our contractual arrangement with NHS England. In addition many community services and mental health services are based on the fact that you are a Camden resident and live locally to the practice.

Out of area registrations

Museum Practice will consider Out of Area (OOA) registration, allowing you to register even if you live outside our standard catchment area, provided we determine you can access services there conveniently (e.g., for work or study).

If your OOA registration is accepted, keep in mind:

• Home Visits: The practice does not provide home visits for out-of-area patients.
• Urgent Care: If you have a medical emergency or need immediate care near your home while registered out of area, you will be advised to use local services or dial 111.
• Applying: You must contact the practice directly to confirm if your specific address qualifies for registration.
